10. To reduce digital eye strain while working on computers,
- Ensure that your computer screen is below eye level.
- Sit approximately 25 inches away from the screen.
- Minimize glare on the screen by adjusting the lighting of the room and the brightness of your screen. You can also use an anti-glare screen.
- Blink frequently to help with dry eyes.
- Splash cold water in your eyes for 30 seconds to a minute, 2-3 times a day.
- Follow the 20:20:20 rule- After every 20 minutes of screen time, gaze on something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
